LARGE-SCALE SUPPORT
Tonawanda, NY
1,000,000 Gallon Elevated Tank
This million-gallon water tower was the perfect spot for a large corral to support wireless equipment for Sprint.
Constructed on the ground and weighing over 8,000 pounds, a 300-ton crane was brought in to set the corral.
The crane and crew coordinated the lift to place the galvanized corral (measuring 55-feet in diameter) onto the tank roof.
After leveling, the support bases were seal welded to the tank roof.
Attachment clips to support the coax cables were installed on the tower leg, the shell, and the roof.
