The substrate below the floor of this standpipe had settled, forcing the floor to bend severely over the inside corner of the concrete ring wall foundation.

We corrected the problem by adding a new annular ring around the perimeter of the shell, spanning the void.
|
|
The welds were visually inspected and tested using the dye-penetrant method. Grout was then pumped between the old floor and the new annular plates to form a solid base.
